He graduated in clarinet in 1979 with top marks at the Conservatory “G.Verdi” in Turin, under the guidance of Mr. Peppino Mariani.
In 1980 and 1981 he won the international competition aimed to take part in the “E.C.Y.O.” Orchestra,
And with it he performed in many tours, in the most prestigious European festivals, playing under the
conduction of conductors as E.Von Karayan and Claudio Abbado.
At the same time, he consistently cooperated with the Rai Symphonic Orchestra (Italian State TV) and the
Teatro Regio Orchestra in Turin.
From 1983 to 1992 he played in the orchestra of the “Ente Autonomo” of the “Scala” Theater in Milan.
For 15 years he was the first clarinet in the “Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia”, and nowadays he is the first
clarinet in the “Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino”, as well as in the “Orchestra of the Toscanini Foundation”
In Parma, the “Symphonic Orchestra” in Aosta (Italy), the “Sicilian Symphonic Orchestra” and the
“Orchestra of the Arena di Verona Foundation”.
He has had soloist and chamber music activities in many international festivals.
Alongside the performing activity he is a qualified clarinet teacher at the “G.F.Ghedini” Conservatory
In Cuneo (Italy).
He performs with Patricola “Virtuoso” clarinets.
