Peter Dimitrov Salchev was born in 1969 at the city of Plovdiv,Bulgaria.
He has been interested in music since his teenage. He is interested especially in classical guitar. His jazz-vocal career started in 1990, when he cooperated with “White, Green, Red” band, which was one of the most famous groups in the field of jazz in Bulgaria.
In 1994, he continued his vocal-musical education at the Faculty of Pop and Jazz Music of “Pancho Vladigerov” State Music Academy, in the class of Assoc. Prof. Georgi Kordov.
In 1997, he won a scholarship for Master’s studies in Boston Conservatoire.
He has done many records for the Bulgarian National Television and Radio, has been a soloist of the Big Band of the National Radio, Big Band – Plovdiv, has worked with Angel Zaberski – son, Zhivko Petrov, Hristo Yotsov, Simeon Shterev, Asen Doykin, Milcho Leviev, Petar Petrov, Kostas Maginas, Marius Pop.
He has given concerts on the stages of all jazz festivals in Bulgaria.
He has given concerts in Germany, Austria, Denmark, United States of America, Greece and Romania.
